Jean Shortening Measuring Guide

  1. Measure your inside leg length. For best results, get someone to help you!
  2. Alternately, Pin the garment yourself and try it on. Repeat until you have the desired length.
  3. Double check: put on the pinned jeans, and the shoes you want to wear with them. How do they look? Are they an inch or finger's width off the ground?
  4. Final checks: are the jeans comfortable around the waist? Hands out of pockets!
  5. Measure the length of the pinned up jeans leg inside seam, from the crotch to the ankle where the new hem will be.
  6. Include pinned up jeans and measurements when you post the jeans to us.

Tuck the bottom of your jeans inside your leg to the length you require.

Push a pin through the new seam to hold jeans in place.

Step 3

Step 3

Now measure from the bottom of the crotch to the new end length of the jeans, along the inside seam. All measurements should be made in Inches.
